Can\u00a0a simple SMS\u00a0reminder help patients remember their appointment?<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The cost of missed GP and hospital appointments has risen to nearly \u00a31bn a year for the health service meaning something needs to be done to prevent this from rising further.
