The night was spent enjoying great food, made by the catering apprentices themselves and we were pleased to be a part of it!<br><\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p>The celebrations continued throughout the night, with Tim our software engineer, not only winning his category in Digital and IT Apprentice of the Year but he went on to be nominated for Apprentice of the Year and won it overall! The whole team were immensely proud.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<\/span><p>Despite joining us in August 2018, with little prior experience in Computing and IT, Tim has added a significant contribution to the company. He has gone on to build integrations with other systems, develop the FireText user interface and fix day to day bugs. He has thrived in his position and as a business, we are pleased he has been recognised for his success!<br><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"681\" src=\"https:\/\/firetext.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/thankyou-1-6-1024x681.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3691\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.firetext.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/thankyou-1-6-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.firetext.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/thankyou-1-6-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.firetext.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/thankyou-1-6-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.firetext.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/thankyou-1-6.jpg 1215w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tim was over the moon with the results, he comments \u201cI\u2019ve been at FireText for about 15 months now and it\u2019s great. The team in my office have been amazing. I\u2019ve received a lot of support from my Employer as well as the College; my tutor has always been there when I\u2019ve asked for help with things, he\u2019s brilliant\u201d<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dan Parker, co-founder said \u201cTim is an exceptional addition to the FireText team.
