We are pleased to announce that FireText have received notification of accreditation into the G Cloud 11 framework to supply SMS services to the public sector.
The news will be welcomed by public sector and healthcare professionals across the UK who rely on SMS text messages to send timely communication campaigns and valuable reminders.
This is an important initiative within the public sector and will help reduce the cost burden of bringing on new cloud-based services. Already working with a number of customers in the public sector, we are once again showing the UK marketplace that FireText are at the forefront of the SMS sector.
“FireText has been an excellent addition to our live service operations. It integrated very easily with our ticketing system and allows us to build business processes around reliable, automated text messages – particularly in terms of out-of-hours support.” Danny McCarthy, Cabinet Office
“Quick and easy to use. Very good customer service. Would certainly recommend FireText.” Graeme Brookes-Butt, West Sussex Council
“FireText are fantastic. Their SMS service is utterly brilliant and has significantly improved our business – our costs are down, our green credentials are up and our communications are now hugely more effective. The best bit – our customers love the SMS service.” Theodore Wilkins, Leeds City Council
“Using FireText as our SMS supplier has enabled us to have greater control over how we allocate and manage our SMS budget across each of our GP sites. The service provides us with an online portal where we can allocate SMS credits and view live SMS balances for each of our GP sites. Low alert threshold emails inform us when an account is running low and, if required, GP sites can purchase further credits themselves via their dedicated FireText account. Setting up with FireText was very quick and we receive regular reports showing GP site usage. The reports help us understand which practices are using the functionality and where to target any further support. GP sites can also use the service to raise awareness of their services and ongoing projects with the support of the CCG, which helps to keep costs down by sending SMS to patients rather than letters.” Sunderland CCG
G-Cloud is a UK Government initiative aimed at easing public sector procurement. Services that have framework agreements are listed in an online store called the Digital Marketplace. The Digital Marketplace is a searchable database that helps public sector departments find Crown Commercial Service Suppliers that have passed the rigorous protocols required by this prestigious framework.
