FireText is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking does not take place in its business or in any part of its supply chain.

The Organisation's structure

FireText are a provider of business communications services in the messaging sector and are one of the UK's largest A2P SMS providers.

FireText are a Private Ltd Company registered in England & Wales, and trade primarily with businesses and organisations in the UK.

Supply Chain

FireText operate a Service-based business model, primarily in the UK and covering the digital marketing and technology sectors.

FireText primarily engage with major telecom providers to deliver SMS to subscribers of UK MNO/MVNOs and utilise UK-only Data Centres.

The FireText supply chain is neither people intensive, nor does it use raw materials.

All employees of FireText are UK-based.

Considering the above, FireText have assessed the risk of Slavery and Human Trafficking in the business and in our ongoing supply chain to be low.

Our policies and values on slavery and human trafficking

FireText are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.

The FireText HR Policy and overall business values reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We have high ethical standards and strong values, shared amongst all employees and directors.

Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking

All FireText employees are employed under a written contract that sets out their benefits and obligations. All staff are UK-based and are paid in excess of the UK national minimum wage. FireText expect the same to be true in our ongoing supply chain.

FireText also have systems and processes in place to encourage and protect whistle-blowers.

Training

To ensure an understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in the FireText business and supply chain, we have and will continue to provide training to staff that are involved in the procurement process.

Compliance

FireText have not been informed of any incidents of modern slavery or human trafficking during this financial year.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st March 2022.
